DNS Industries Limited is a Canadian manufacturer of commercial millwork, store fixtures and displays. Founded in 2001 and based at 967 Edgeley Blvd in Vaughan, Ontario, DNS started as a regional millwork shop and now builds millwork, fixtures and displays for projects across North America.
Drafting, fabrication and assembly happen in one facility in Vaughan. Every package is assembled and staged there before it ships, so what leaves the building has been checked as a whole, not as parts.
DNS was founded in 2001 in the Greater Toronto Area as a millwork shop. CNC machining, solid surface fabrication, plastics fabrication and LED integration were added over the following years, so a store fixture that mixes wood, laminate, solid surface, acrylic and lighting can be drawn and built by one team.
In our facility: CNC routing and millwork fabrication, laminating and edgebanding, wood finishing, solid surface fabrication (including Corian), acrylic and plastic fabrication, LED lighting integration, assembly and staging.
Through specialist partners, coordinated in our shop drawings: custom metal fabrication, powder coating and wet coating, aluminum extrusion and composite panel work, glass, and vinyl graphics.
Installation is included on some projects and handled by the client’s general contractor on others; the quotation says which.
DNS has built millwork for 60 L’Occitane stores across Canada and the United States, and produces Bosch (BSH) appliance display programs for Best Buy, RONA and The Brick. Other recent work includes Le Creuset, Sessions Cannabis, Juno Vet, Pickleplex (Aurora, Oshawa, Windsor and Vaughan), The Hunny Pot Cannabis (a 40+ store fixture program), Mellow Leaf Cannabis, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Elder Care and Brownsburg School. In May 2023, DNS Industries was named a top-five finalist for Business of the Year (Manufacturing) at the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce Business Achievement Awards. See awards.
Most projects start from design-intent drawings supplied by an architect, designer or general contractor. DNS prepares shop drawings and submits them for review. On multi-location programs a first unit is usually built and reviewed before the run. The package is then fabricated, assembled and staged in Vaughan before delivery.
