For the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte, an elder care residence is more than a building — it is a home for the community's most respected members. In collaboration with Groupe Chagall and CoreBuild Construction, DNS delivered the complete millwork and casework package for this landmark 132-bed long-term-care project, bringing warmth, dignity, and enduring craft to a space where residents live every day.
The scope reflects the exacting demands of healthcare fabrication: accessible resident vanities built for comfort and safety, nursing-station and servery casework designed for round-the-clock use, tiled kitchenette cabinetry, and warm wood-door corridors that soften the institutional into the residential. Every profile, edge, and finish was selected to withstand the rigours of continuous care while feeling unmistakably like home.
It is a flagship project in every sense — a collaboration between DNS and Chagall that proves institutional millwork can carry the same craft, care, and character as the finest retail environment.
