T&T Supermarket opened its Empress Walk store on 8 October 2026: a 66,000 sq ft conversion on the concourse level at 5095 Yonge Street in North York, and T&T’s largest location in Ontario. General contractor Rochon Building Corp led the fit-out to drawings by K Paul Architect, with interior design by Dialogue 38. DNS Industries provided the shop drawings, fabrication and installation for the millwork.
The T&T Café is at the front of the store. Its service counter has a stone countertop and stone-faced front, laminate casework on the staff side, stainless-steel baseboards and tempered-glass sneeze guards.
The shop drawings were laid out around the café equipment, with open bays and cut-outs for the under-counter coolers, ice bin, pitcher rinser and display cases, checked against the final equipment specifications.
DNS supplied the wood-grain wall panels behind the café and at the store entrance, and the bulkhead panels over the café counter.
Shop drawings went to Rochon, Dialogue 38 and K Paul Architect for review in May 2026. DNS installed the millwork in August and September 2026, ahead of the October opening.
